Foundation for Roanoke Valley

Foundation for the Roanoke Valley has awarded Unbridled Change 2 grants this year! 

One grant was through the Roanoke Valley Children's Fund for a $1000 to help purchase special safety equipment and riding tack that has allowed us to expend our therapeutic riding program to accept children as young as 2 years old.

We also received a grant from the Philanthropy Project in the amount of $3,250 to be used to fully fund a combined 12 week program of our A "Bit" of Support program and our therapeutic riding program.  This is a unique project in that it provide total wrap around services for both the family and the child diagnosed with Autism. 

The program will provide 6 weeks of therapeutic riding for the child and 6 weeks of counseling services for the siblings and family members to help provide a safe and supportive environment for them to address the concerns, emotions, and worries that typically surround a family that has a loved one with a disability.

101.5 the Music Place

We are proud to be partners with 101.5 the Music Place. They have helped us find awesome volunteers, get the word out about our services and are one of the main sponsors for Bluegrass on the Maggoddee.  To learn more about how their radio station is so much more than great music click here.
