Unbridled Change's Riders participated in the annual Therapeutic Riding Association of Virgina (TRAV) horse show in Lexington, VA on Saturday October 10th!

We were very proud to be bring 4 of our excellent therapeutic riding students (and three horses) to compete in the state wide therapeutic riding horse show in Lexington, VA on Sat. October 10th.  They did a wonderful job and had a get time!

Unbridled Change was the only Equine Assisted Therapy program from the Roanoke Valley area to compete and bring riders.  The kids enjoyed the day as they were cheered on by family, friends, and volunteers while competing in three classes - equitation, trail, and pole bending. 

The TRAV show is a wonderful opportunity for our riders to not only show off the horsemanship skills but a place for the parents and families to network and celebrate what their child CAN do!  For more pics from the day visit our facebook page!

1st Annual - Bluegrass on Maggoddee 2009

Thank you to all our sponsors and guests who made the event at great success!!!  It was a wonderful evening full of Bluegrass, toe-tapping and ripping licks from David Via, The Hay Boys, and his band!  The event is our main fundraiser to benefit our scholarship funds and horse care funds and we raised over $6,000!

The BBQ dinner - provided by Squeals on Wheels, owner Gene Giffey - was awesome!  Guests enjoyed dancing from the Old Dominion Cloggers, silent auction, door prizes, carriage rides from our own therapy horse Frank and K & B Carriage & Entertainment, and a demonstration of our Equine Assisted Learning services.
