Wranglers - Learning to Corral your Anger

"Wranglers"  is an equine assisted psychotherapy anger management program.  It is designed to help children, youth, and adults address "triggers" and destructive behaviors that may lead to violence or acting out behaviors.

Clients will be introduced to new anger management / coping skills and have the opportunity to implement them into their daily lives through hands-on activities.

Example of the types of skills introduced are:

    • respect,

    • being assertive verses aggressive,

    • problem solving/coping skills,

    • learning to communicate in positive and healthy manners,

    • and respecting boundaries.

During the "Wranglers" program clients may start off in individual sessions to address specific issues or goals, then move into a group setting once it is appropriate.
