Working with Guidance (Part 2)

Oct 16, 2020

In my last blog, I talked about how guidance is all around us. It comes through little forms, like a still small voice, a thought that pops in your head, or even a short passage in a book.

In this blog, I am following up on some of the next steps you can do to help cultivate and keep deepening your connection to your inner guidance.

In the video, I share a coaching exercise I give my spiritual and transformational clients.  The exercise is designed to help expand from asking guidance for personal self, to changing it to asking for guidance to help support others. I have found that once we add in this step it helps to create a beautiful pattern that opens us up, even more, to be in the flow to give and receive!

The exercise is simple: At the beginning of the day, ask for the Divine or Universe to work through you. Tell the Universe that you’d like to be a divine vessel to serve others and help answer the prayers of others. Heads up here, to do be a divine vessel of service and light you also need to stay willing to follow the promptings you get from the Universe.

I share in the video a little story of what I experienced the first time I tried this out.  I have to admit I wasn’t sure what to expect and what my guidance might lead me to.  What I found was that I was led to little opportunities to do simple acts of service and share kindness.

By the end of the first day, during my journaling session, I realized how many moments of connection, smiles, and appreciation happened that day for myself and for others. As I kept up with this exercise and transitioned it into a daily practice, I also noticed how my life was getting more synchronistic.

The thing about guidance is it’s instantaneous. It’s given to us for the moment! And by delaying it or slowing it down, we are not allowing the synchronistic flow to come in.

My challenge for you is to be willing to be a divine channel to help others and answer their prayers. Make that intention, say it out loud, write it down, or however you create your ASK.

The more we give, the more we receive. It is a beautiful synchronicity of receiving guidance for yourself and also receiving guidance to help support others, filling your cup in the process - win-win!
