It’s Derby Time!

April showers bring May flowers & the run for the roses – the Kentucky Derby! It is that time of year again, time for our annual fundraiser, a Derby Party, that helps Unbridled Change raise much need scholarship and horse funds. This year there is a twist! Cinco De Mayo and the Kentucky Derby are the same day – what could be better then a Kentucky Derby Fiesta!
The Derby Fiesta will be held at the Buffalo Wild Wings on Starkey Road in Roanoke, VA from 4-7:30. I love this event because it is free, open to the public, and a family friendly event. To help raise funds we are also selling a limited number of VIP tickets (100 only) thanks to the generous support and sponsorship of Buffalo wild Wings – for just $15 you can upgrade to include a fabulous buffet, ten “horse race tickets”, and to commemorate this special Fiesta event, VIP’s will also receive an Derby Fiesta shot glass.
There will be super awesome silent auction items. Plus our derby horse race game – pick the winner of the race and you have a chance to win a huge LG 55″ LED 1080p Smart HDTV, courtesy of Buffalo Wild Wings.
Don’t forget to grab you Derby Hat with a twist and enter our best hat contest! All are invited, men and kiddos too, to show off their best Derby/Fiesta Hat. Prizes are awarded for best hat based on style and creativity so unleash your inner artist!
