Staying Balanced and Connected to your Power

Jan 16, 2020

Wow, 2020 is here and on its way!

Part of me feels like January has come and gone from all that has happened in the first half and scheduled for the second half. When I sat down to set my goals for the quarter and then for the year, one of them included getting back on track with my blogs and newsletters and creating new mini-courses and workshops for 2020! I’ll share more about the new programs and offerings in the next blog so stay tuned. :)

Meanwhile, here's the topic for today's blog: What helps you stay in balance and connected to your power?

I thought it would be fun to show you one of my most favorite morning rituals and place that helps me set up my day in prayer, meditation, movement, and connection.  For those of you that know me or have taken any of my classes I thrive on movement and bringing the joy, it is something that really helps me connect to my intuition and guidance. About 3 months ago, I realized that I needed to bring my meditation and prayer reflection practice back to nature and into mindful movement more again. I was yearning for and needed the connections that I felt deeper when I was outside surrounded by my herd, the trees, the creek – all these are a core part of what helps keep me in balance in my wellness (mind, body, and soul).

In this little video, I wanted to share a behind the scenes look at one of the elements that I believe helps to create the amazing sacred container that is Unbridled Change and the vibe that helps people feel safe to develop the healing and growth they need - including me! I hope you enjoy the sounds of the creek and the rain that was coming in this morning as I shot this short video.

Disclaimer - Don’t worry, I don’t video myself at 7 in the morning after the kids have left the house for school and all I’ve done was pull my hair back and threw on my workout clothes, lol!

I’d love to know what helps you stay in balance! Do you have a sacred place that helps you feel safe, supported, and connected? If you would like, please share it with us or maybe send us a picture of it here (plus the caption) then we will post it on our Facebook Page to help support and inspire others as well.

PS: I am also sending the energy of the water and support to those in need throughout the world. If you can, please take a moment and include a prayer of support, peace, and love to those in need throughout the world.
